A combination of years of experience and ingenuity helped create a seed that blossomed into the Bumblejax website which began a decade ago and was the first website in the USA to offer acrylic face mounting using an easy upload and order process. Founder Corey Dwinnell thought it would be a cool idea to have a vacation photo from a trip to Thailand enlarged, printed, then mounted to a piece of MDF board in his garage and begin experimenting with other substrates including perfecting the difficult acrylic face mounting process. From there other materials such as bamboo, raw aluminum, dibond, gatorfoam, birch, and canvas were offered including many custom options for acrylic prints.
